How to Change a Jeep Key Fob Battery
- Locate the seam: Check the edge of the key fob for a small groove or notch.
- Open the fob: Gently twist a coin or small flathead screwdriver in the groove to separate the two halves.
- Take out the old battery: Note the orientation so you know which side is facing up.
- Insert the new battery: Most Jeep fobs use a CR2032 coin cell, with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Reassemble the fob: Snap the two halves back together firmly and test the buttons to ensure it works.
